Current Weather at Tresbos

Sorry! No actual weather data available!

We are always open and a warm welcome is always available! With an average of 2000 hours of sunshine a year, Midi-Pyrenees is one of the sunniest regions in France. Temperatures above 25°c are recorded on 60 to 80 days of the year over most of the region. Pace of life is slow here, this is French rural life at its best, traffic is at a minimum and life is relaxed. Spring comes very early and soon starts to feel more like summer. This is the perfect time of the year for hiking and getting out and about. The peaks of the Pyrenees may still have a covering of snow, but the wheat is already on the blade on the Gascony hillsides and the orchards of the Tarn et Garonne are decked with a veil of hot pink and purple blossom. Between early April and late June, the average maximum temperatures rise from 16° to 24°C. The mountains do help produce some down bursts of rain and so this lovely region has the benefit of warm weather and green countryside. July and August are months of strong sunshine and intense heat.  Over the course of the day, the average maximum temperatures rise to between 26°C and 28°C, but at night the air cools and has a wonderfully pleasant feel. Perfect for eating out in the grange, watching the stars, bats and owls cavorting. Autumn is blessed with a gentle Indian summer, characterised by gorgeous warm days with stunningly clear skies. In the beautiful September light, the maximum temperatures rise to between 21°C and 25°C. They remain very mild in October with average maximums varying between 16° and 19°C and so our pool doesn't close until the end of October. Come early November, the snow arrives on the mountains and the slopes become the main attraction. The Pyrenees have some amazing ski resorts and most are very child friendly with great nursery slopes and moving carpets, perfect for those finding their feet. The main resorts can be reached within a hours drive from the farmhouse and all ski equipment can be pre ordered.
